Aion 2 guild management tools: what a legion actually needs in 2026

Most guild tooling is built around loot distribution, which Aion 2 does not need. Here is what is left, what it is worth, and when a legion genuinely outgrows a spreadsheet.

Aion 2 guild management tools: what a legion actually needs in 2026

Disclosure first

We make Guild Manager, one of the options in this space. Read this with that in mind.

We are also going to spend the first section telling you that the feature most guild management tools lead with, ours included, is close to useless in Aion 2. That is the honest position, and it is the one experienced Aion 2 officers already hold.

The loot features do not apply here

Almost every guild management product in this category is built around loot: DKP ledgers, loot council workflows, auctions, guild bank tracking. That entire feature set is a solution to a problem Aion 2 does not have.

Aion 2 rewards are personal. You clear content, spend your own Odyle Energy, and claim from your own reward cube against your own pity counter. Gear largely binds. Trading sits behind the paid membership. The one place shared loot existed, numbered boxes dropping at raid mid-bosses, was removed by NCSOFT in 2026 and folded into the personal reward cube. Global launches on that post-fix build.

There is also no legion warehouse. NCSOFT's developers said plainly that they did not build one because they did not think it would be needed.

So if a tool is selling you a DKP system for Aion 2, it is selling you a feature you will switch on once and never open again. There is more detail in Aion 2 DKP explained and Aion 2 loot explained.

That removes roughly half the usual reason to adopt a guild platform. What is left is genuinely narrower, and worth being honest about.

What is actually left

Three things, in order of how much they matter in Aion 2 specifically.

Scheduling. The highest-value function by a wide margin, and more valuable in Aion 2 than in most MMOs because of Odyle Energy. Rewards are gated by a personal stamina currency, so a run that collapses at form-up costs every attendee a limited resource, not just an evening. Getting the right people in the right group at the right time is the whole game.

Roster and composition. Dungeons run 5, the first raid runs 10, and a Force is four parties, so 20. Knowing who plays what, who can flex, and who actually turns up is what lets you field a group at short notice.

Recruitment. Applications, vetting, and knowing who your legion vouches for. This matters more than usual because Aion 2 has a live scam economy around carry runs and party loot settings, and the game provides no reputation tooling at all.

Attendance tracking supports all three, but note what it is for here: deciding who gets invited next time, not deciding who gets an item.

The four categories of tool

Scheduling bots

Discord-native bots that post an event, collect signups, and remind people. Raid-Helper and Apollo are the long-standing options.

Good at: the single most valuable automation, done well, inside Discord where members already are. Free tiers are genuinely usable.

Limits: they know about an event, not about your legion. They cannot tell you the person who signed up left the roster last week, and they carry no attendance history across months.

Right choice when: you run a couple of events a week and have under about 25 members. For a lot of Aion 2 legions this is the correct final answer, not a stepping stone.

Spreadsheets

Still the most common tool in this category, and underrated.

Good at: free, flexible, understood by everyone.

Limits: they go stale and they get forked. By week three two officers are maintaining different copies.

Right choice when: under about 20 people, or tracking one thing only.

Game databases and timers

Aion 2 already has several, including item and skill databases, interactive maps, boss timers, and at least one database built on NCSOFT's official API.

Worth knowing: this niche is well served and free. A legion tool does not need to also be a database, and one that tries is usually mediocre at both.

Roster and operations platforms

Web apps holding roster, applications, schedule, and attendance in one place, pushing notifications into Discord. Guild Manager is one. CoGM and GuildHub have published Aion 2 pages, and Guild Order runs an Aion 2 content hub with recruitment features. There is also at least one Korean tool built specifically around Aion 2 legion needs, tracking combat power, Abyss Points, and Force composition, which is a good signal for what actually matters in this game.

Good at: being one source of truth, so nothing is transcribed between systems.

Limits: real setup cost and a real dependency.

Right choice when: you run scheduled content weekly, you have more than one officer, and you are reviewing applications.

The questions worth asking

Does the free tier fit your real roster? Free tiers range from unlimited members to a couple of dozen. Guild Manager's free plan has unlimited members on one guild, so roster size is not the thing to check; what to check is which features sit behind the paywall.

Can members see their own data without asking an officer? If checking your own attendance requires a DM, people assume the record is wrong.

Does it model 5, 10, and 20 as reusable templates? A tool where you define the structure once beats one where every event is rebuilt by hand.

What happens to history when someone leaves? Most tools drop the person and their record together.

Is it selling you loot features for a game with personal loot? A vendor leading with DKP for Aion 2 has not looked closely at the game. That is worth knowing about a vendor.

What we would tell a new Aion 2 legion

Start with a scheduling bot and a pinned message.

For the first weeks after launch your problems are that people do not know each other and events do not fill. Neither is solved by software. A free scheduling bot, a written schedule, and a channel where it lives will carry a new legion through October.

Move to a platform when you hit one of these:

  • You are running more than one group a night and cannot see who is in which.
  • Applications are arriving in three officers' DMs.
  • You cannot answer "who has actually shown up in the last month" without scrolling.
  • You have officers who need scoped permissions rather than everything or nothing.
  • Your spreadsheet has been forked.

Before those, a platform is overhead.

On the argument that Aion 2 legions barely need tooling

Some experienced officers argue that Aion 2 legions do not really need management tooling. On loot, they are straightforwardly correct, and we would rather say so than sell you a ledger.

The narrower case we would still make is about time rather than items. Aion 2 makes attendance genuinely expensive: entries and Odyle Energy are limited, per character, and non-transferable, so a group that fails to form has burned something nobody can get back. That is a scheduling and reliability problem, and it gets harder at 10 and 20 players.

If you can solve that with a bot and a pinned message, do. Plenty of legions can.

If you want to try ours

Guild Manager covers rosters, applications, scheduled activities with capacity and roles, attendance, scoped officer permissions, and Discord notifications and role sync. It also has loot and contribution tooling, which for Aion 2 we would not expect you to use. Free for a guild of any size, no card required.

Global Early Access opens 30 September 2026, free-to-play 5 October. Set up an Aion 2 legion workspace, or read the pricing first.
