Albion Online guild guide: roster by loadout and responsibility
Prepare Albion groups with clear loadouts, replacement gear, rally points, and shared-loot rules.
In Albion Online, equipment determines what a character can do. A roster entry that says “DPS” is useful only if the caller knows which loadout that player will bring. Plan the session around the equipment people can afford and use, rather than a permanent class label.
Publish an affordable composition
Give each assignment a weapon family, intended job, minimum preparation, and an acceptable substitute. Explain whether a player should bring control, healing, pressure, or a defensive utility. Link the agreed build where members can find it again.
Ask new recruits which roles they have practiced and which sets they can replace. An expensive ideal composition is a poor starting point for a group that cannot recover from its first loss. A training composition should make repetition affordable.
Agree on replacement gear before leaving
Write down which activities qualify for reimbursement, what evidence is required, and who approves a claim. Include an explicit spending limit and a deadline for submitting losses. If replacement gear is not provided, say so in the event description.
Choose a rally point and a regroup plan. Assign someone to tell late arrivals where to go. Repeatedly pulling the caller away from combat to answer location questions weakens the whole group.
Decide who owns the haul
A shared-loot policy should name the collector, transport plan, selling responsibility, and method of dividing proceeds. Decide how replacement costs and shared supplies affect the final split. Keep the result visible to participants without exposing unrelated guild finances.
For example, an expedition can settle its own income and expenses rather than blending them with a later territory outing. That makes a missing payment easier to investigate.
Measure the commitment you asked for
Attendance should distinguish a confirmed signup from actual participation. Count substitutes and support assignments according to the policy announced for that event. Review recurring shortages by loadout, then recruit or train for those jobs. Do not assume one player can simultaneously cover every build they own.
Put the plan into practice
Keep your roster, event commitments, and decisions together with Guild Manager’s guild tools. For Discord setup and participation checks, read the command guide and voice attendance guide.
