ArcheAge Classic guild guide: cargo, escorts, and shared progress
Organize ArcheAge Classic outings with explicit cargo ownership, escort duties, and server-specific rules.
A trade outing creates a different agreement from a boss run. Cargo has an owner, escorts have a commitment, and someone has to decide what happens when the route goes wrong. Set those expectations before your ArcheAge Classic guild departs.
ArcheAge Classic is an independently operated server. Its operator’s announcements are the relevant source for its rules. Do not import costs, timers, or balance advice from another ArcheAge release without checking.
Recruit for the route as well as combat
Record character name, faction, server, class plan, availability, and the activities a recruit wants to join. Ask whether they want to haul, escort, craft, farm, or lead groups. Avoid treating every member as a combat signup when the project also needs transport and materials.
Explain which contributions are voluntary and which your guild expects from members. A recruit should know that agreement before investing time in a shared project.
Put cargo ownership in the briefing
For each trip, name the organizer, route, departure time, cargo owner, and destination. List the escort assignments and the condition for aborting the run. Decide whether escorts receive a fixed payment, a share of proceeds, or simply help another member.
State how losses will be handled. Do not let “guild run” silently mean that the bank pays for everyone’s personal cargo. Keep a short settlement note after the outing so the next organizer can see what was promised and delivered.
Keep progression projects accountable
A guild craft or shared vessel needs a custodian and a material list. Record donations separately from loans. When equipment changes hands, note the recipient and whether it should be returned.
Give each project one next milestone. “Finish these materials by Saturday” is easier to support than an indefinite request to contribute more.
Review commitments before expanding
Start with one reliable recurring outing. If escorts or organizers keep missing it, reduce the scope or change the time. A large calendar is not useful when nobody owns the handoff between recruitment, preparation, and departure.
Put the plan into practice
Keep your roster, event commitments, and decisions together with Guild Manager’s guild tools. For Discord setup and participation checks, read the command guide and voice attendance guide.
