Legend of YMIR guild guide: recruit for real clan commitments
Keep YMIR server identity, progression goals, group responsibilities, and recruitment expectations clear.
A Legend of YMIR clan should tell recruits what joining will change about their week. “Active players wanted” leaves too much open. Name the activities, meeting times, preparation, and level of commitment your current group needs.
Establish the server context first
Ask for region, server, character, class, normal play times, and preferred activities. Confirm that the member can join the same environment as the clan. Use current official announcements for server and event conditions rather than an older launch guide.
Keep applicants interested in social or progression help separate from those seeking regular competitive commitments. Both can belong to the same community, but they should not receive conflicting promises.
Connect progression to a useful next step
A roster snapshot should show the character’s current role and the preparation relevant to your next event. Ask what the member can contribute now and what they want help improving. Avoid making a single combat number the entire recruitment conversation.
For example, a returning member might need a readiness session and a practice group before a high-commitment outing. Give that member a clear path instead of leaving them indefinitely marked “not ready.”
Publish the event agreement
State the objective, gathering time, planned duration, caller, and preparation requirements. Confirm role coverage and the substitute plan before final assignments. Check capacity and entry rules in the current game version.
Make attendance expectations specific. If reserve duty counts, explain how members are called and when they may leave. If only participation counts, do not imply a signup alone earns credit.
Keep reward decisions reviewable
Before using points or loot priorities, verify whether rewards can be assigned in that activity. Explain eligibility, ties, and who records the decision. Do not promise control over personal or restricted rewards.
End each outing with an outcome, the next progression target, and any open decision. Review repeating attendance shortages before recruiting more of the same class. The useful recruitment target is the responsibility your current members cannot reliably cover.
Put the plan into practice
Keep your roster, event commitments, and decisions together with Guild Manager’s guild tools. For Discord setup and participation checks, read the command guide and voice attendance guide.
