Throne and Liberty guild guide: weapon roles and loot agreements
Prepare T&L guild groups around weapon combinations, boss objectives, PvP duties, and clear drop ownership.
A Throne and Liberty guild roster should show the weapon combination and responsibility a member will bring to the next activity. A broad role label helps you start planning, but it does not explain whether the character is prepared to heal, control space, or carry a specific assignment.
Recruit for your actual schedule
Ask applicants for server, character, weapon combination, usual play times, and preferred PvE or PvP commitments. Publish the attendance expectation for the activities that matter to your guild.
A recruitment promise should say what a newcomer can join immediately and what preparation comes next. Do not make every applicant guess whether the guild is a learning group or a competitive progression roster.
Keep the signup tied to the current setup
Before confirming a group, ask members which character and weapons they will use. Record prepared alternate responsibilities separately. A player experimenting with another weapon should not remain counted as your only reliable healer without reconfirming.
For PvP, give callers, supporting groups, substitutes, and regroup instructions clear owners. Gathering time and combat start are different commitments. Explain both.
Agree on drop ownership before the boss
Check current guild distribution settings and the relevant activity’s restrictions in game. Tell members which drops stay personal, which are managed by the guild, and how eligible recipients are chosen.
If you use DKP, publish earning rules, bid eligibility, ties, and how exceptions are recorded. If officers decide, explain the criteria and who can review the decision. A valuable drop should trigger an agreed process, not an argument about what the process was meant to be.
Review the reason a session struggled
Use attendance and outcome notes to identify a missing assignment or preparation problem. Voice participation is evidence, not a complete description of someone’s contribution.
Keep potential ability preparation and current build advice attached to the right version. After a session, save one useful next goal and reconfirm the roles needed to achieve it.
Put the plan into practice
Keep your roster, event commitments, and decisions together with Guild Manager’s guild tools. For Discord setup and participation checks, read the command guide and voice attendance guide.
