The best MMO guild management tools in 2026, compared

Every competitor fact below comes from that tool's own website as of 28 September 2026. Where we could not confirm something, such as a price that is not published, we left it out rather than guess. Prices and plans change, so check the linked page before you pay for anything.

The short answer

• Throne and Liberty guild: GuildManager if you want a web app, recruitment, and room for a second game. Throney if you only play T&L and want the lowest price.
• World of Warcraft Retail raid guild: Guilds of WoW. It is built only for WoW and goes deeper into the game's data than anyone else here.
• Multi-game community: GuildManager or CoGM. GuildManager covers more games today. CoGM is cheaper for a single guild.
• Event signups inside Discord only: Raid-Helper.
• Old-school DKP, especially EverQuest: OpenDKP.
• Former TLGM guild: GuildManager. It is the same product under a new name, and your data can move over.

Comparison table

GuildManager

GuildManager covers recruitment and applications, rosters with alts, scheduled activities, attendance (including Discord voice attendance), loot auctions, rolls, loot council, wishlists, a guild bank, DKP or custom point systems, Discord role sync, and audit logs. It supports 25 games, though about half are still marked beta. The free plan includes one guild with unlimited members and Discord integration. Core costs $19.99 per month for up to four guilds and alliances of up to eight, with a 14-day trial and no card required.

Where it is weaker: DKP and custom point metrics are not on the free plan, while Throney's free tier includes DKP. For one guild, Core costs more than CoGM Pro or Throney Pro. Screenshot OCR reads T&L gear score and visible character attributes, not every equipment slot. For WoW, it syncs characters from Battle.net and imports progression from Warcraft Logs or Raider.IO, but its in-game addon only covers WoW Forever so far, and Guilds of WoW goes further on Retail. Guilds of WoW

Guilds of WoW is a guild management and recruitment platform built only for World of Warcraft. It connects to the official Battle.net APIs, WowProgress, Raider.IO, and Warcraft Logs. It has a Discord bot for events, RSVPs, combat logs, keystones, and applications, and an in-game addon that syncs RSVPs with the in-game calendar. Guilds can unlock more features through five premium tiers.

If your guild only plays Retail WoW, this is the stronger choice. The addon and calendar sync alone save officers real time, and nothing else here matches its WoW data depth. It does not help if your community also plays another game.

CoGM

CoGM lists Black Desert Online as live, Aion 2 and WoW Forever in beta, and several other games in development. It sends Throne and Liberty guilds to Throney and says it comes "from the team behind throney.gg". Its Discord bot lets members sign up, mark attendance, and check DKP without leaving Discord. Pricing: free for 30 members per guild, or $10 per month per guild for Pro, which adds unlimited members, applications, DKP, loot auctions, a party builder, and unlimited gear OCR uploads. There is a 14-day Pro trial with no card.

CoGM is cheaper than GuildManager for one guild and is the better fit for BDO. At two guilds the cost is about the same, and at three or four GuildManager Core costs less. We cover the details in GuildManager vs CoGM.

Throney

Throney is built only for Throne and Liberty. Members use Discord commands like /upload to scan gear screenshots, and it logs voice attendance, runs DKP, and builds war parties for sieges. The free tier covers up to 20 players and includes gear scanning, DKP, events, and attendance. Pro costs $7.50 per month and removes the player cap, adds stats and loot-bank scanning, and supports up to four guilds in an alliance.

For a small T&L guild that wants everything in Discord, Throney's free tier gives you more than ours does. GuildManager makes more sense with a larger roster, recruitment, a full web app, or more than one game. See GuildManager vs Throney.

Raid-Helper

Raid-Helper is a Discord calendar bot. Members sign up by clicking reactions under an event post, and officers get reminders and CSV exports of signups. It also documents attendance statistics. Premium uses one-time payments, from €10 for three months to €55 for lifetime, and adds recurring events, custom templates, mirrored events, and archiving.

For signups alone, Raid-Helper is cheaper and simpler than any platform on this list. It does not manage applications, loot, or a long-term roster.

OpenDKP

OpenDKP is an open-source DKP system its creator built for an EverQuest guild. It tracks raids, raid ticks, attendance, items, and adjustments, and includes a tool for finding missing raid ticks. The source code is on GitHub under the MIT license, and its REST APIs let guilds connect their own Discord bots.

If your guild runs a traditional EverQuest DKP ledger and you like owning your tools, OpenDKP is a good fit. It does not try to cover recruitment, scheduling, or other games.

Guild Vault

Guild Vault describes itself as independent guild operations software that works with any game, with dedicated pages for Throne and Liberty and Aion 2. It covers events with RSVPs, Discord voice attendance, DKP with auctions and item shops, VOD review, OCR scoreboard imports, tournaments, and alliances. The Discord bot is part of Guild Vault Premium. Pricing is one subscription per guild with unlimited members and a 14-day trial, but we could not find a published price.

GuildForger

GuildForger is closer to a guild website and community hub. It includes forums, real-time chat, a raid calendar, DKP or loot council, recruitment, and roster tracking, and names WoW, FFXIV, ESO, Guild Wars 2, and New World. It has a permanent free plan, and Pro adds a custom domain.

Pick it if you want your guild's forums and site in the same place as the calendar. We found no mention of Discord integration on its pages, which matters if your guild lives in Discord.

Which one should you pick

Throne and Liberty guild. Under 20 players and Discord-only: Throney's free tier. Bigger roster, recruitment, an audit trail, or plans for another game: GuildManager for Throne and Liberty. Former TLGM guilds should migrate rather than start over.

WoW raid guild. Retail only: Guilds of WoW. WoW plus other games, or WoW Forever with a guild addon: GuildManager for WoW or WoW Forever.

Multi-game community. GuildManager keeps each game's classes and roles under one organization, with up to four guilds on Core. CoGM is cheaper per guild if its game list covers you.

Discord-only event signups. Raid-Helper. Add a platform later if you need a roster or loot history.

Old-school DKP. OpenDKP for EverQuest. For DKP in other games, GuildManager, CoGM, Throney, and Guild Vault all have it.

TL Guild Manager (TLGM) is now GuildManager

TL Guild Manager (TLGM, tlgm.app) started as a Throne and Liberty guild tool. GuildManager is its successor, built by the same team. New guilds are now created on GuildManager, and TLGM is winding down.

Existing TLGM guilds can migrate. The guild owner starts the move. A full migration copies members, characters, roles, DKP balances, activity records, loot history, wishlists, and applications. Some things stay behind, including auction and roll sessions, loot council decisions, guild bank inventory, gear screenshots, attendance older than 90 days, and the audit log. Review the result before you close the TLGM guild, because it also closes on its own at the deadline shown in TLGM.

Is GuildManager the same as TL Guild Manager?

Yes. GuildManager is the successor to TL Guild Manager (TLGM), made by the same team. TLGM guilds can migrate their data at tlgm.app/migration.

What is the best TLGM alternative?

For most TLGM guilds, it is GuildManager, because your members, DKP, and history can move over. If you want something else, Throney is the cheapest T&L-only option.

Throney or CoGM?

They come from the same team. Throney is for Throne and Liberty. CoGM is the multi-game platform and sends T&L guilds to Throney.

What is the best free guild management tool?

It depends on roster size. GuildManager's free plan has unlimited members but no DKP. Throney's includes DKP but caps at 20 players. CoGM's caps at 30 members per guild. Raid-Helper's core bot is free for event signups.
