CoGM alternative for multi-guild communities
CoGM Free allows 30 members per guild. Pro is $10 per guild each month for up to 300 active members, and each further 200 members costs $5 a month. GuildManager Free has one guild with unlimited members. Core is $19.99 a month, or $14.99 a month billed yearly, for up to 4 guilds, with alliances of up to 8 guilds.
CoGM's pricing page says it is from the team behind throney.gg, and CoGM's Throne and Liberty page sends T&L guilds to Throney. If you are comparing GuildManager with both, you are comparing two products from the same team.

Choose CoGM if
- You run a single guild and monthly cost is the deciding factor: Pro is $10 per guild.
- You play Black Desert Online, which CoGM lists as live, and want its BDO tools.
- Your guild has 30 members or fewer and the Free plan's roster, events, voice attendance, PvP analytics, and limited gear OCR cover what you need.
Choose Guild Manager if
- Your guild has more than 30 members and you want to stay on a free plan.
- You run more than one game and want one roster model that understands each game's classes, gear, and roles.
- You play Throne and Liberty and want it in the same product as your other games.
- You run two to 4 guilds, where Core costs less than separate CoGM Pro subscriptions.
- You want a decision history that survives a member leaving the guild.
Corrections
CoGM's comparison page does not name GuildManager, but two of its claims about the market do not match CoGM's own pages. Checked 2026-10-07.
- CoGM's comparison table has a "Free for unlimited members" row.
- CoGM marks itself as partial on that row, and its pricing page says "Free up to 30 members per guild". Pro covers up to 300 active members, with 200 more for $5 a month. GuildManager Free has no member cap. Source: CoGM comparison page, checked 2026-10-07.
- The same page says "CoGM is the only tool that knows BDO and Throne and Liberty deeply" and checks "Throne and Liberty support (DKP, raids, gear)".
- CoGM's own Throne and Liberty page says the game is "Under Development on CoGM" and that "TL guild management is currently available on throney.gg". GuildManager runs Throne and Liberty guilds today, with DKP, activities, attendance, and gear screenshot OCR. Source: CoGM Throne and Liberty status, checked 2026-10-07.
Common questions
- Which one is cheaper?
- GuildManager Free includes one guild with unlimited members. Core is $19.99 a month, or $14.99 a month billed yearly, for up to 4 guilds. CoGM Pro is $10 per guild each month and Throney Pro is $7.50 per month, so both cost less than Core for one paid guild. Core costs less than separate CoGM Pro subscriptions once you need two to 4 guilds.
- How many members does CoGM's free plan allow?
- CoGM Free allows 30 members per guild. Pro starts at $10 per guild for up to 300 active members, and each further 200 members costs $5 a month. GuildManager Free has no member cap.
- Are CoGM and Throney the same company?
- CoGM's pricing page says it is from the team behind throney.gg, and CoGM calls Throney its sister site for Throne and Liberty.
- Does GuildManager have gear OCR?
- Yes, for Throne and Liberty, on every plan including Free. Upload a character screenshot with /gear update in Discord or through the web gear upload. GuildManager reads gear score and visible character attributes into class-specific gear tracking. Check the values against the screenshot; you can still edit them by hand. We do not claim full equipment-slot recognition.
- Which one supports WoW Forever?
- Both. CoGM lists WoW: Forever as In Beta with DKP, loot auctions, raid signups, and a guild treasury. GuildManager's desktop app installs an in-game addon that syncs the roster, records raids for officer reports, and shows soft reserves on item tooltips, alongside DKP, loot council, auctions, the guild bank, and a profession registry.
- When does GuildManager cost less?
- GuildManager Free costs nothing at any guild size. Core is more expensive for one guild: $19.99 a month against CoGM Pro at $10. Core includes up to 4 guilds, so it costs less than separate CoGM Pro subscriptions once you need two or more paid guilds.
